Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is a surgery that modifies the small labia of the female genitalia (labia minora). Small labia can cause discomfort as a result of mechanical irritation, and also cause pain in various activities such as sexual intercourse, exercise, bicycling, horseback riding.

The operation is performed in local or general anesthesia. Excess tissue is removed, the labia are refurbished and sutured with absorbable stitches.

After surgery, return to work is possible after 2-5 days, restoration of normal activities is possible from 3-6 weeks, depending on the extent of the procedure.
