Mole removal

The most common way of removing skin moles or other skin pigmented lesions is surgical removal. Excised skin is then examined histologically.
Other option is CO2 laser for removal of benign skin lesions.

  • After removing the pigmeted mole, the material is sent for histological examination
  • Stitches are selected approximately 6 -14 days
  • Depending on the size of the excised tissue, the soft scar remains
